Receiving letters from fans who enjoy my work just never gets old.  I lap it up like a dog in the desert whenever I can get it, and hearing how it affects the lives of others is really why this web site exists.  I make no secret that, as pathetically vain as this sounds, I am my own favorite author, so I'll wax rhapsodic about my stories and their characters with anyone, anywhere, anytime until somebody decides to gag me just so they can hear someone else's voice for a change.
